I’ve been gardening in New Mexico’s high deserts for over 30 years, starting — like many people — with trial, error, and a volunteer squash plant that was quickly overtaken by squash bugs (oh, so yucky!). Over time, I learned not just how to grow food, herbs, and pollinator plants here, but how much seeds can teach us about adaptation, resilience, and place. Today, I focus on helping gardeners build confidence with seed saving and grow locally adapted seeds that support both our gardens and our communities.

I share occasional updates about seed swaps, classes, and practical seed keeping and gardening ideas. No spam — just useful, seasonal notes.
